Katherine Alissar Tannous is a PhD candidate at the University of California Irvine in the department of Global Studies. She received her MA in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and her BA in Global Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara. Her dissertation research analyzes the branding of the new Saudi Arabia through an examination of the Diriyah city giga project and the cultural and political implications of Saudi’s Vision 2030 modernization plan. Her research touches on themes of geopolitics, cultural economy, urban/tourist landscape studies, global studies, and Middle East studies.

Mr. Hossain completed his PhD research degree on Henrik Ibsen and Doris Lessing, comparatively at Jahangirnagar University in 2025 and M. Phil research degree on Henrik Ibsen at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh in 2019. As an assistant professor, he teaches English literature and language courses at IBAIS University. He authors two books on Ibsen Studies and Female Empowerment and Henrik Ibsen. He publishes 70 articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He is a reviewer and editorial board member of 200 international journals. He presents 40 papers at international conferences in Bangladesh, the UK, South Korea, Turkey, China, Jamaica, the USA, Macedonia, and India, both in person and online. He is a member of international research associations like APA, MLA, TESOL, etc.
